April 8th :: snow on Easter morning!

April is a cold one this year, after a rather warm March.

:: the daffodils are wiped out just as they peak

Bitter cress blooms on schedule, which means I weed it when there is a break in the cold... which isn't much!

I normally split hostas and plant lettuce in March and April, but not this year.

April 29th :: a break in the grey

:: Onslo, our new puppy, poses.

I've not gotten over the loss of Neo in January ... I've not quite bonded with Onslo just yet. I'm sure that is another reason I have not gardened this month. It was unseasonably cold, and yes, depressing.

This was our anniversary purchase last year, when we visited the Cleveland Botanical Gardens.
