July 1-4 :: cold for July... in the 60's

The dry sunny air is a Canadian treat. Harvesting lettuce and weeding.

:: I am watching the garden phlox succumb to orange rust or possibly verticillium wilt. They caught it from the black berries. I had ripped out all the berry bushes last year, along with every phlox plant. I was hoping these that came up this spring would be spared. There appears to be no cure.
